Over Three Decades of Excellence
Founded in 1990 by a group of dedicated educationists and community leaders, Anto Padua Secondary School began with a simple but powerful vision: to provide quality Catholic education that forms the whole person.
What started with just 50 students and 8 teachers has grown into a thriving community of over 1,200 students and 80 dedicated staff members. Despite our growth, we have never lost sight of our founding principles: academic excellence, moral integrity, and spiritual development.
Today, we are proud to be recognized as one of the leading secondary schools in the region, known for our academic achievements, character development, and commitment to forming future leaders.
Key Milestones
Foundation
Anto Padua Secondary School was established with 20 students and 8 teachers. Late Mr Antony Silvernus was the founder
First Graduating Class
First set of students graduated with 100% pass rate.
Science Lab Expansion
State-of-the-art science laboratories were commissioned.
ICT Integration
Computer lab and digital learning programs introduced.
Record Achievement
90.6% pass rate in WAEC examinations - Best in LGA.
